country style spare ribs

tbsp
drippings or oil

vinegar

brown sugar

ketchup

dry mustard

celery
(cut)

large onion
(chopped fine)

Worcestershire sauce

Instructions

Season meat with salt and pepper, brown in drippings.

Remove meat, add 1 c. water to the pan. Heat and mix with remaining ingredients in Dutch oven (or heavy pot).

Add spare ribs, cook on top of stove or in oven 1 1/2 hour. (Bring to a boil, cook slowly until spare ribs fall apart.)

Serve with sauce poured over ribs or in pitcher alongside.
