Broccoli Salad

This was served by a friend at a church covered dish supper. I enjoyed it on several occasions before I finally got around to ask for the recipe. I like the combination of salty/smoky, sweet, and tangy.

  • Fry the bacon until crisp, cool on paper towels, and crumble.
  • Break down the head of broccoli into small pieces and chop the onion.
  • Mix all ingredients in a large bowl and let it sit for a while, or an hour or so in the fridge, so the flavors come together. Serve cold.
